About Us
The Toorak Op Shop is operated by the three Toorak Ecumenical Churches: The
Toorak Uniting Church, St John’s Anglican Church, and St Peter’s Catholic Church.
Members representing each of the three churches are on the board of our
committee.
The Toorak Op Shop was established in 1980, and through the selling of donated
merchandise, we support charities nominated by the three churches.
A team of volunteers runs the daily operation of the Toorak Op-Shop, where
merchandise is expertly sorted, cleaned, and priced to ensure the best of quality at
an exceptional value. We proudly carry some of the leading luxury brands in the world.
Over our years of trading, and through the hard work of our team of volunteers, the
Toorak Op Shop has gained a broad reputation as one of the best opportunity shops
in Victoria.
The reward for our volunteers is the joy of providing quality merchandise at great
prices, and the knowledge that the money raised is going directly to charities
nominated by three local churches.
Revenue raised through sales, fewer outgoings, are donated to the nominated
charities bi-annually.
